MORNING CLASSES: In-Hand to commence at 09.00am

 

Class 1: Youngstock – yearlings to 3 years

 

Class 2: Novice/Young Handler – Hats be Worn (Children may be accompanied by an Adult)

 

Class 3: In-Hand Mountain & Moorland-(Small and Large breeds) EQUIFEST OPEN MOUNTAIN & MOORLAND IN HAND

 

 

Class 4: In-Hand Veteran – For Horses and Ponies 15 years &over EQUIFEST OPEN IN HAND VETERAN HORSE / PONY Sponsored by Allan James Motors Ltd

Class 5: In-Hand Coloured, Palomino, Spotted, Dun & Roan- EQUIFEST IN HAND PIEBALD / SKEWBALD

 

Class 6: In-Hand Show Pony/Horse, plaited types any age- EQUIFEST OPENIN HAND RIDING / HUNTER PONIES

 

Class 7: In-Hand Cobs – Heavy/Hairy or Hogged

 

Class 8: In-Hand Hunter Type Pony/Horse- EQUIFEST OPEN IN HAND RIDING / HUNTER PONIES

 

Class 9:  In hand TGCA- in hand Senior & Youngstock

Class 10: Open In hand

Class 14:  Complete beginners –open to horses/ponies, riders any age, walk & trot only

Class 15: Novice Ridden Showing-–open to horses/ponies, riders any age, Sponsored by Sarah Birchall Show Team.

Class 16: Ridden Mountain &Moorland (Small or Large Breeds) EQUIFEST OPEN RIDDEN MOUNTAIN & MOORLAND

 

Class 17: Ridden Coloured, Ridden Spotted, Palomino, Dun& Roan EQUIFEST RIDDEN PIEBALD / SKEWBALD

Class 20: Ridden TGCA-part bred &full breed

Class 21: Ridden Hunter Type Pony/Horse-EQUIFEST OPEN RIDDEN SHOW HUNTER PONIES, EQUIFEST OPEN SMALL HUNTERS, EQUIFEST OPEN RIDDEN HUNTERS

Ridden Championship–First and Second from each class is eligible

Quest Championship-1st, 2nd and 3rd from the TGCA classes above may go forward to the Quest for a Star Championship as per below rule. ONLY current TGCA members and horse/pony that is already TGCA registered can exhibit in this championship. Membership card and Members qualification card (specific to that exhibit) must be presented upon entry into the ring. The Champion and Reserve qualify for the Ultimate Star Championships at TOYS.

Go For Glory Championship -1st, 2nd and 3rd from the TGCA part bred classes may go forward to the Go for Glory Championship. For 2024 TOYS qualifiers, the handler/rider and exhibits (apart from stallions) do not have to be TGCA members/registered on the date of the show. The Champion and Reserve qualify for the Crowning Glory Championships at TOYS.

SUPREME CHAMPIONSHIP– Champion & Reserve from the In-Hand Championship and Ridden Championship

Working Hunter Clear Round 9.00am- £6.00 a round (£1.00 extra for a rosette)

Classes start at 10 am

Class 22: Jump Height 30cms – Open to Ponies 128cms and Under, Riders 10years and under.

Class 23: Jump Height 50 /55cms-Open to Ponies & Horses- Equifest Open Mountain & Moorland Working Hunter Ponies, Equifest Open Working Hunter Ponies/Nursery Stakes

Class 24: Jump Height 60/65cms- Open to Ponies & Horses –Equifest Open Mountain & Moorland Working Hunter Ponies, Equifest Open Working Hunter Ponies/Nursery Stakes

Class 25: Jump Height 70/75cms- Open to Ponies & Horses Equifest Open Mountain & Moorland Working Hunter Ponies, Equifest Open Working Hunter Ponies/Nursery Stakes

Class 26: Jump Height 80/85cms– Open to Ponies & Horses

Class 27: Riding Club Pony/ Horse– One jump to be included in the Individual Show.

WORKING HUNTER CHAMPIONSHIP-1st & 2nd from each class go forward to this Championship
